What Goes On

A random bunch of goings-on from a bored (possibly sleep-deprived) hippie-Neopagan-Goddess-worshipping-loony.

Tis Leiko! Eighteen-year-old girl and highschool dropout (for various icky reasons you'd probably rather not hear) and utter nutter. Sometimes profound, but not very often. At least, not as often as some of Leiko's LJ friends would have you think.

ZOMG FIRST POST.

I'm makin' a webpage (with my friend Ashling/Hannah) about Goddess spirituality. My dream is to end up on .pagan_snark on Livejournal. I'm not totally sure why. I think it'd be pretty funny, personally. Most of the people on that community are hilarious, and I'd be honored to be mocked by them.

Sometimes I think our thealogy sounds a little bit strange or silly or fluffy, but then we push right on, because this is what we know and believe. Maybe someone else out there does, too. It'd be nice to find kindred spirits and shared (because, y'know, there's jack shit in the South in the way of hippies, Yippies, and the like).

My mom says I've got a healthy sense of humor about myself. I think everybody should be able to laugh at their own mistakes and the things they think are good about themselves as well.

Life was probably not meant to be all that serious. Come on, people: platypuses, ostriches, penguins, giraffes, zebras, okapis, Pat Robertson, Fred Phelps, and the Ice Capades. And the Internet! The Internet is a veritable haven of lunacy. It's proof that Someone up there has got a seriously wicked sense of humor. I bet we weren't meant to sit around in misery and slave our lives away in sorrow.

Laugh at something everyday, nyan!
