What Goes On

A random bunch of goings-on from a bored (possibly sleep-deprived) hippie-Neopagan-Goddess-worshipping-loony.

I went walking today and found a pinwheel in the grass at the side of the road. I think it's a good sign or a lucky charm; I stuck it in my backpack so that the wheelie part of it spun around as cars passed. A lot of people waved at me or honked their horns or both. Everybody seemed friendlier today. :3

And some cute Asian guy rolled his window down and waved enthusiastically at me. I was all, "Damn! Come back here and make friends with me!" But it's a good first step, I suppose. :3 I'll have to start carryin' my pinwheel around everywhere nyan~

I looked up the so-far tour dates for the Who's USA tour. AGH. So far, the closest one to us is in New York City. Fuck North Carolina, man! I told Mom I would hitchhike up to Madison Square Garden and beg for a miracle at the back gate if I had to. Out of all my still-living heroes, I would really like to see the Who the most. I mean, really live. Not on a TV or computer screen. I doubt Dad would be up for driving me there, though. I wonder if they'll come to Myrtle Beach or Virginia? I wish. But now that I've probably said it, Roger and Pete will change their minds and not come to the Southeast at all. It's my luck, y'know. XP

Anyway, Mom is cool. She said she'd pay for a ticket on the Greyhound bus for me if I really wanted it come fall. :DDDDD ROCK. Now if she's only shell out the money for a ticket, too... but really, honestly, I'd be happy just to be in the same general area as the Who. Even if I never got into the concert hall and I just stood outside the door listening from the outside and daydreaming, I'd still be overjoyed to be near the same building as them. Does that make me creepy? I dunno.

If I were in New York, I'd also visit John's memorial and try to catch Yoko Ono. Shut up, I like Yoko; I'd like her autograph. I'd like Pete's and Roger's and Rachel's, too, but I think the chances of that are slim to none, sadly.
