What Goes On

A random bunch of goings-on from a bored (possibly sleep-deprived) hippie-Neopagan-Goddess-worshipping-loony.

It's a stormy day. My plans for the day are shot. I was gonna go up to Eckerd's again and get some pretzels or something.

And my sinuses are acting up. Feels like someone thwapped me with a gigantic hard-rubber haddock, it does.

I don't remember too much about the dreams I had last night this morning this afternoon, except I was playing harmonica outside Risen Christ Lutheran Church in North Myrtle Beach. That's about it.

Speakin' of Lutheran churches, I looked up our old church from Ohio, since Mom mentioned it. Pastor Bell JUST retired last Sunday. XD He'd been there since before I was born, I think. He gave Josh and I Cabbage Patch Dolls. (I dunno where mine went. Josh's was sold at a yard sale, but I kept mine for a very long time. But now that I'm lookin' for her, of course, I can't find her any-bloody-where.) Pastor Bell was pretty cool, but Ms Hope was always my favorite pastor when we went to church. Ms Hope was nice, she had a good sense of humor, and she had some guy stand at the door to give lollipops to kids. >:D Just what I need during church services--hyper-powder in crystallized form.

I'm not all that into church these days. The world is my church. I can't stand to sit around listening to someone else giving a two-hour lecture on God. I'm too impatient, y'know? And I think I'd rather read about it; I was always more a reader and a personal seeker than a listener and a group-seeker. It's surely a good idea to meet up with other people with different ideas and communicate those ideas for understanding, but I just can't be bothered to do it for too long. Short attention span, y'know?

At the same time, though, I could watch random people pass me on the street or stare at trees for hours. Odd, isn't it?
