What Goes On

A random bunch of goings-on from a bored (possibly sleep-deprived) hippie-Neopagan-Goddess-worshipping-loony.

Karen's away for the week! *does a dance* Damn, that pinwheel is a lucky charm, indeed. :D

The only downside of this: Dad, the Amazing Un-eating Wonder, is just fine with having a box of peppered bacon and some random side-dishes for a week's dinner. I'm not. I'm a vegetarian.

"Dad, can we go to Wal-mart tomorrow?"
"Why?"
"For food."

"What do you need that for?"

I swear, Dad draws his nourishment from the sun, like a plant. O_o

In other news: I had another dream about Mr Curly-hair, who actually told me his name. BIG MYSTICAL MAGIC PROTECTOR MAN... is named Mitch. You'd expect something more mystical for a guy whose job it is to run around protecting a magical witch who rampantly abuses her powers. XP

I like Mr Curly-hair--er, Mitch. I often have recurring characters in my dreams, and they often turn into inspiration for stories or story characters. Seth, and indeed, the entire story of Carpe Noctem, was based on a very long series of dreams I had between 2000 and 2004. Then--as in the story--he seemed to pack his bags and leave without me. No note or anything. Which made me kind of sad--I always love the friends who appear in my subconscious and hang around there for awhile.

Am I sounding insane again? Pfooo~

In other OTHER news: I changed my calendars over. (For some bizarre reason, everybody in my family decided to buy me a damn calendar for Christmas last year. Now I've got a Hippie-Word-a-Day desk calendar, a 365-Stupidest-Things-ever-Said desk calendar, a Magical Mystery Tour Beatles wall calendar, a psychedelic poster art wall calendar, and a little day-planner-sized calendar that I never use.)

This month's Magical Mystery Tour picture is George in his bug-eye sunglasses, fedora, and yellow tie peering off into the distance. God of fashion, George Harrison was... XP But at least he didn't have a wicked mullet like Paul and Linda did.

The psychedelic poster art is some chick sitting on a mushroom and advertising a 1992 rock festival. Meh.
