Sometimes, on eBay or another such sales site, you'll see "Great conversation piece!" tacked onto some insanely tacky, disgusting, or outright weird item that's up for bids.

And I wonder what kind of conversations you have over them.

"Say, Jim," said Marsha, "what's with that thing dangling from the ceiling?"

"You mean the gigantic winged wooden penis?"

"Yes, that."

"It's a conversation-piece."

"...So... why do you have it?"

"So I can keep having this conversation. Over and over."
