What Goes On

A random bunch of goings-on from a bored (possibly sleep-deprived) hippie-Neopagan-Goddess-worshipping-loony.

Huzzah! I found one of the Gonesh Jasmine incense sticks in my burner. I thought I had a few left. :D I'd been burning the cheap shit that I bought at the gas station, thinking I was out of the Jasmine.

Ahh, I love this stuff. ♥ It smells wonderful, and it's very calming. I've been feeling down all evening. Just smelling it has lifted my spirits a lot. Amazing what small things can do, innit?

The Cable Guy is coming over today to fix the cable boxes. Two out of the three we've got aren't working. On the downside, this means he has to get into my room. I don't like letting people into my room. If you come over to my house, I will shut my door and seal it off with the fuckin' crime tape. You will not pass the threshold. You will be staying in the living room, or outside. I'm not quite sure why I hate people coming into my room, even people I actually like (not that this happens at all often). Perhaps it's because I've got my papers strewn all over the place. I don't like it when people read my stories. I'm never satisfied with them. And they're all transcribed daydreams. So it's like a peek into my brain, and it's always felt strange to have others reading those daydreams.

Hopefully, though, the Cable Guy will not be nosy. The Sattelite Guy and the DSL Guy at McRainey were pretty nosy.

I had had this random, unwanted thought, "Maybe he'll be funny and interesting," but then again, this never happens. And if he was funny and interesting, he wouldn't wanna talk to me. That's usually the way it goes. Except with Andy. I only wish Andy lived on the same side of the country as me.

Glancing at myself, I realize that it's just like I told Dan last night--"I'm not full of opposites. I'm full of contradictions and conflicts. It's the way us crazy people are. I'm one way AND the other as well. And it works out."

Like the fucking Cheshire Cat, I am.
